L’histoire d’une famille yakuza de 1999 à 2019. Le père de Yamamoto Kenji meurt d’une overdose. Plongé dans le désespoir, il finit par rejoindre un syndicat du crime. Là, il rencontre le chef du gang Shibasaki Hiroshi. Ce dernier lui tend la main et ils développent une véritable relation père-fils. Au fil du temps, Kenji bâtit sa propre famille.
