Akio est lycéen. Il échappe de justesse à un camion, sauvé par son ami Ozaki. Depuis cet incident, survenu il y a deux mois, il fait un rêve récurrent dans lequel une jolie fille apparaît.
Un jour, il rencontre cette même fille dans la réalité. Elle court vers lui, l’embrasse, puis disparaît soudainement.
De retour chez lui, Akio découvre sa propre photo de funérailles chez lui…
